Level 2 is for Second grade and is built on three curriculum focal points:

  Base ten and place value.

 

  Quick recall of addition and subtraction facts.

 

  Developing an understanding of linear measurement.

 

 

 

This level has a number of skills and strategies:

 

  Use place value and properties of operations to create equivalent representations of given numbers.

 

  Compose and decompose multi-digit numbers.

 

  Add and subtract to solve a variety of problems.
