You want your
child to read well. You have read to
your child, helped them with their
reading and even hired tutors. You asked
that your child received extra help at
school, and still your child
has struggled.
Despite
extensive staff development, the
implementation of research-based
methods, alignment to standards and
following the mandates of NCLB (No Child
Left Behind), many
school district are struggling to
substantially raise reading scores.
We
believe most challenged readers can
learn to read if their underlying
auditory and phonological (spoken word)
processing issues are addressed, and if
reading instruction is updated to
include recent advances in reading
research.
Generally, students with reading
difficulties often have subtle problems
processing spoken words limiting
their ability to read written words.
When these issues are resolved, and a
strong connection between spoken and
written words is developed, then reading
becomes natural.
When that strong connection is in place
children learn to read easily at an
early age. They make the connection
between printed and spoken words easily
because they have strong spoken language
skills.

Here is another student’s
Running Record Scores. As
you can see, he was
STUCK...then it all came
together after SRS and he
got it! Currently, he
is a 5th grader. He can
comprehend on the 4th grade
level. He is in the
general education setting
requiring minimal additional
support beyond that offered
in the classroom. He
has developed very strong
spelling and writing skills.

Few
teachers and tutors use the latest
methods. This is where Sound Reading can
help. Sound Reading provides the most
advanced reading methods for teaching
decoding (word reading), fluency and
comprehension. This is accomplished using easy to use games, workbooks, and the
Sound Reading Software.
Tutors
are expensive, time consuming and
produce varied results. Using the Sound
Reading Software is enjoyable even for
the most teacher-adverse teen!
In as
little as 15 hours, Sound Reading will
produce exceptional results. Students
who have long avoided books will begin
to read without parental coaching.
