Help beginning readers
take the first steps into reading. Many students aren’t ready to read
sentences and paragraphs without practicing the use of phonemes and word
building. Most emergent readers take incremental steps into reading
-- the jump
from letters and sounds to sentence-level reading is just too big to
accomplish without building sound-based skills first.
The Hop, Skip and Jump
into Reading series guides children through every reading skill from
phonemic awareness to reading words, sentences and stories. Students
quickly progress from sounding out words to reading sentences and
paragraphs. Contains unique word retrieval and naming exercises to
ensure that your students learn to read with ease.
Twenty different reading
formats build reading skills and fluency, giving emergent readers a
sense of print mastery, while ensuring fun, fluent reading. Far beyond
simple decodable text, the three Hop, Skip and Jump into Reading books
offer appealing stories that children love to read and read again.
